MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Construction crews will close Buckeye Road to traffic between Monona Drive and South Stoughton Service Road for street reconstruction on Monday, June 17.
The closure will last through November. A detour will be signed to direct through traffic to use Cottage Grove Road, according to the Engineering Division of the City of Madison.

Pedestrian access will be maintained on at least one side of the street at all times. Bicycle and pedestrian access will be maintained across Buckeye Road at Lakeview Avenue to accommodate the Lake Loop route.
