No guns were stolen during a burglary at a Janesville gun shop overnight.

A spokesperson with the Janesville Police Department said officers were notified of an alarm at CTR Firearms/Automotive on Woodlane Drive around midnight. When officers arrived on scene, they found a exterior door with a smashed out window. A small amount of cash was stolen from the business.

Surveillance video inside the gun shop shows what appears to be three male suspects in their teens or early twenties.

Investigators from the Janesville Police Department are working with investigators from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Oregon Police Department to see if the recent burglaries from gun dealers are connected.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Janesville Police Department at (608) 755-3100 or Janesville Crime Stoppers at (608) 756-3636.

This morning around 12 AM our Firearm store alarm went off. I’m happy to report nothing of value was taken ....nothing! Thank you so much to the Janesville Police Department for the very quick response and to our employees being there within minutes.
