MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Grab the umbrella and rain boots starting Tuesday, as if you ever put them away. Shower and storm chances are back in the forecast. In fact, a daily chance of wet weather will be with us all the way into the upcoming weekend!
This may sound ominous, but it's not all bad news. Yes, there are daily chances of rain but we are not expecting any daily washouts. There will be plenty of dry hours sprinkled in and even some peaks of sunshine! Even more good news comes in the fact that no severe weather or flooding concerns are currently anticipated. Rainfall over the next week will range from 1-3 inches, which over a week isn't all that impressive.
Thursday looks to be the driest of the next seven days with rain chances primarily coming during the overnight hours. A more significant storm system will move in by the end of the week and weekend. This will bring a better chance of storms and heavier showers.
