Dane County Farmer's Market held at Breese Stevens Field Saturday
The Dane County Farmer’s Market relocated to Breese Stevens Field on Saturday morning.
That’s because the Art Fair is taking over the Square, where the market is usually held, all weekend. This is the market's second year locating to Breese Stevens.
The market's hours were a little shorter, open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and only about half of the normal vendors were out selling their product. However, there were some extra features unique to Breese Stevens.
"We do have some kids' activities and music. Kids' activities star t t 8:30, music starts at 9. Breese Stevens has their concessions open, so you can grab a cup of coffee and walk around which you certainly can't drink a beer when you walk around the capitol square, so it's a nice time to just come out, enjoy," said Sarah Elliott, market manager.
In a press release, the Dane County Farmer’s Market said:
The Dane County Farmers Market will return to the Capitol Square on Saturday, July 20 and will go back to its normal hours.
