WINDSOR, Wis. (WMTV) -- A deputy with the Dane County Sheriff's Office was stuck in heavy traffic in the Windsor area when the road was blocked by cows milking their shift early Saturday morning.

All traffic was cleared and all the cows did in fact come home.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office made a post on their Facebook page regarding the spotted stragglers.

The bovines may have herd there was a royal wedding in the area, witnesses didn't want any beef and kept mooving.
