UPDATE on Day 6: Stepfather says Jakubowski is "anti-police"

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (TMJ4) -- The suspect's stepfather, Donald McClean, told NBC affiliate TMJ4 that Jakubowski has been anti-police and anti-law enforcement for a long time.

McClean said Monday that his stepson blamed police for everything and that he "would not want to wear a badge until this thing is over."

ROCK COUNTY, Wis (WMTV) – Authorities are still looking for Joseph Jakubowski and additional federal resources have been brought in from across the nation to help in the investigation.

According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, nearly 425 tips have come in so far on the Tip Lines. The FBI continues to offer a $10,000 reward for any information leading to Jakubowski.

Local patrols have increased and law enforcement continues to stay in contact with area school officials out of caution.

A press conference will not be scheduled regarding this case until there are major changes in the investigation.

Anyone who has seen Jakubowski is asked to call “911” and general tips on the suspect can be reported to 1-800-225-5324.
