Woman killed in Dodge Co. crash identified

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) -- The 65-year-old woman killed after a head-on crash in Dodge County Wednesday night has been identified on Friday afternoon.

Marsha A. Horner of Baraboo was taken to Aurora Hospital in Hartford and was later pronounced dead, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

It happened in the Town of Rubicon just after 8 p.m. Deputies said Horner was driving a 2018 Ford Ecosport going east on State Highway 60, when it crossed over the center line and hit a 2007 Infinity FX35 head on.

The driver of the Infinity, 63-year-old Karen Ann Lichtenberg of Hustisford, was also taken to the hospital, but deputies said her injuries are not life threatening.

This case remains under investigation at this time. Other agencies assisting at the scene include Hartford Police Department, Hartford Fire Department, Hartford EMS, Wisconsin State Patrol, the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, Dodge County Chaplain, and DCERT.
