MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Your weather authority forecast calls for a dry Sunday before big changes take hold for early next week. A strong system will pass overhead Monday, which means wet weather will move in. The timing looks like showers will arrive Monday morning and continue off and on through the day. Rain totals will be between 1-2" through the day. There could be a few embedded storms.
Rain will still be possible Tuesday and Wednesday but not as much as Monday. We should also see a little bit more sunshine during that time as well. Temperatures will be around normal next week and as it stands now, Thursday and Friday will be the driest.
