ATTICA, Wis. The Green County Sheriff's Department and the Albany Fire Department and EMS were sent out to a check on a farmer in Attica who was trying to get his cows out of flood waters.

The cow pictured above, according to Albany EMS, was tired and overwhelmed by the trauma of being stranded in flood waters. The EMT, pictured, called a veterinarian and helped the cow by giving it oxygen and wrapping it in blankets.

"We are here not just to help people, we are here to help everyone, including animals," Jamie Stephenson, Albany EMS Director said.

The cow is expected to survive.
