Driver ejected from cab in propane truck crash near Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD, Wis. (WSAW) -- A 45-year-old male was seriously injured Tuesday morning after losing control of his semi-truck and getting ejected from the cab on Highway 29 near Abbotsford.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. near Maple Road. The truck was traveling westbound when the driver lost control navigating a curve in the highway according to a lieutenant with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the tanker was taken to Marshfield Medical Center.

All lanes of the highway were blocked early Tuesday morning. One lane has since reopened in each direction at mile marker 134.
