MILWAUKEE (WMTV)-- The Milwaukee Bucks continue to their journey to a NBA Championship.
It’s the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Fear the Deer that’s what the Raptors should be thinking on Wednesday night as they head into the Fiserv Forum for game one of the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals.
In just a few hours, it will be standing room only as fans are going to start this watch party at 5:30 p.m. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. We spoke to the marketing officer with the Bucks who told us if you’re headed to Milwaukee, you better leave early.
“Expanded security perimeter around the plaza so there we bag checks and that sort of things so you want to make sure you get here early the restaurants and bars will be open here on the plaza all throughout the day so as you come down get something to eat be a part of all the action there's plenty of parking right around the Fiserv Forum on the north side of the parking structure you can come down,” said Dustin Godsey, Bucks Chief Marketing Manager.
This is the first time in 18 years the Bucks have made it this far in the playoffs. The first time Fiserv Forum is holding an NBA Conference Final, and the court is ready to go over 17,000 seats covered with a giveaway T-shirt that says, “Built to Stay Built to Advance Built to Contend”. That’s exactly what the Bucks hope to do Wednesday.
The Bucks buzz is everywhere in the city. If you’re heading to Milwaukee, safe travels. There is some construction when you get off the highway so be sure to give yourself plenty of time and Go Bucks.
