Fitchburg PD releases sketch of parking lot attacker

FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV)--- Police have released a sketch of a man accused of assaulting a woman in a Fitchburg fitness center parking lot on March 5.

The Fitchburg Police Department the man is suspected in a stranger attack that happened in the parking lot of the Princeton Club on Hardrock Road around 8 p.m.

Police said the woman was followed to her car by the assailant. As she opened the door, the man pushed her into the car and punched her several times. The victim started to scream, and the attacker ran away.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 18-24-years-old, 6’0” tall, 200 pounds with a stocky or muscular build and short hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
