Flood damage more than $1.1 million in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- More than $1.16 million dollars in damage to public infrastructure and emergency costs was reported to officials following recent flooding across the state.

More than 620 homes were damaged including 10 in Lafayette County.

Manitowoc County had the most buildings affected by flooding.

In addition, Columbia County, Green County, and Jefferson County in our area were also impacted by the recent flooding.

The Red Cross opened five shelters during the recent flooding, and they provided 156 overnight stays.
