MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) The Rock County's Sheriff Department says an 85-year-old man died after a two-vehicle crash in Bradford Township Tuesday.

A sergeant says the investigation shows a 2007 Mercury Milan, driven by the 85-year-old man, went through a stop sign at E. USH 11/14 while driving on S. CTH C.

When he was in the intersection, a 76-year-old man hit him. His wife was also in the car. The impact of that crash pushed both cars onto a vacant business lot near the intersection.

All three people involved were taken to local hospitals. The 85-year-old man died there a few hours later.

The Sheriff's Department says all three people were wearing seatbelts before the crash. It says no citations or arrests will likely come out of this incident.
