MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- "Just a little bit excited, I mean look we're in downtown Madison, Breese Stevens Field looks great and the support from the community so far has been really exciting," Connor Tobin, captain and defender for Forward Madison, said.
Coming off their first win against Orlando City, the team is ready to have the home field advantage and play their first regular season game at Breese Stevens Field.
The game kicks off at 7 p.m. on Saturday April 27. In a tweet by the team they announced, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes will be giving the "ceremonial kickoff." As well as, the team is partnering up with Love Your Melon to donate money to pediatric cancer research with every purchase of the custom made Forward Madison FC hats.
Tickets start at $16, but the team is giving a package deal that cost $43 and includes a ticket and the team's Love Your Melon hat. To buy tickets online click here.
