Free fishing weekend in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. If you have always wanted to learn how to ice fish, this weekend is a perfect time. The Department of Natural Resources is putting on free fishing weekend throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Even with the mild winter, the DNR says that areas in Chippewa, Dane, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Portage, Waukesha and Winnebago all are offering locations to ice fish.
