Garage fire displaces two in Madison

Two people have been displaced from their residence after a garage fire on the west side of Madison early Saturday morning.

A garage was on fire inside a two-story duplex on the 6300 block of Offshore Drive at 2:42 a.m., according to the Madison Fire Department.

The attached garage on fire was an extension to a pop-up camper parked near the side of the garage.

The main body of the fire was brought under control soon after fire crews arrived. Fire damage was limited to the garage and exterior of the residence.

At least two people were displaced. No injuries were reported. Officials are still investigating.
