MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Sentencing is scheduled for October 18 for Antonio Jackson, who Monday pleaded guilty in the shooting death of Rayshawn Jackson.
Gentry was originally charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the deadly shooting, but pleaded guilty to second-degree intentional homicide as part of a plea deal. Seven other charges against Gentry were also dropped as part of that deal.
On May 16, 2018, investigators say Gentry and Jackson were arguing outside of an apartment building on Waunona Woods Court on Madison's south side. Witnesses say Gentry pulled a gun and shot Jackson in the head. Jackson died from his injuries five days later.
