Giving Kids Access to Free Bikes

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Taking place Saturday, Jan. 12 is the third Annual Bike Collection Day.

The event is put on by Free Bikes 4 Kids, a local nonprofit aimed to collect, refurbish and give bikes to kids in the area.

During the event, people in the area can donate extra bikes of any size to a number of Unity Point Health Meriter Clinic locations from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Bikes collected during that time will be redone and given to 2,500 kids in the area this spring.
