Hwy 69 open after semi crash

VERONA, Wis. (WMTV) -- Highway 69 re-opened on Saturday, after a semi carrying construction materials crashed on the road.

Authorities with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office say a call came in at 5:13 Saturday morning for the crash.

The road was closed for 2 and a half hours, as crews worked to clear construction materials over the road.

Sheriff’s deputies tell NBC15 News the crash happened because of “driver error.”

No one was injured.
