Jakubowski faces additional federal charge
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)---A man accused of robbing a Janesville gun shop on April 4th was indicted in federal court on Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 32-year-old Joseph Jakubowski has also been charged with being a felon in possession of firearms and silencers. He is accused of stealing 18 firearms and two silencers from Armageddon Supplies in Janesville.
Jakubowski made his initial appearance in federal court last Friday. He will be back in federal court next Tuesday for his arraignment.
If convicted, Jakubowski faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison on each count.
