Cash bond set for Joseph Jakubowski

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) – Manhunt suspect, Joseph Jakubowski, appeared in Rock County Court Monday afternoon.

Jakubowski was captured on Friday in Vernon County after being spotted by a land owner. He stole 18 firearms from a gun shop in Janesville and mailed an anti-government manifesto to President Trump.

Jakubowski faces three charges including burglary, felony theft and possession of burglary tools. His cash bond was set at $30,000. ($10,000 per count)

He is not allowed contact with the gun shop in Janesville, Armageddon Supplies, or the owner.

The state also says Jakubowski made a fake bomb and left it at a gas station on the south side of Janesville.

His next court appearance is set for April 25th at 2:30 p.m.
