House catches fire in Janesville, no injuries reported

Janesville fire responded to a residential fire on County Trunk J Saturday afternoon.

Janesville fire department said that firefighters found smoke and fire throughout the structure in the 3300 block of S County Trunk J at around 3 p.m.

The firefighters extinguished the fire and found that the residents and their pet were not home.

The residents arrived later and said they were out of town. They made arrangements to stay with family.
