WASHINGTON (WMTV) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have broken a franchise record thanks to relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress.

Jeffress replaced Washington Nationals closer Sean Doolittle, who is on the disabled list. He will join teammates Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain, Jesús Aguilar and Josh Hader in Washington D.C. on July 17.

The Milwaukee Brewers posted a tweet in celebration to their official Twitter page.

With Jeffress now the fifth All-Star from Milwaukee on the roster, the Brewers have broken a franchise record for the number of players the team has sent to the mid-summer classic.
