MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Changes are headed to southern Wisconsin after a beautiful Wednesday. The way things have been going this Spring, just give it 24 hours and something totally different will move in. This time it spells another good chance of rain. We will be at a "Yellow-1, Low Impact" on our weather impact scale.
While we may start with some sunshine early Thursday, look for cloud cover to quickly move back in by the midday time frame. Showers will develop and become likely through the afternoon and evening hours with an isolated storm not out of the question either.
Rainfall amounts are expected to be between a quarter and half inch with locally higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. While this isn't a lot of rain, it could slow the fall of area rivers and in some cases cause minor increases.
