LOS ANGELES (WMTV) -- Barron-native Chris Kroeze is hoping his two performances on "The Voice" semi-finals are enough to make him a contender in the finals.

You can cast a vote for Kroeze by clicking here. Voting ends at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Kroeze performed along with 7 other contestants on the singing competition Monday night. On Tuesday, only 4 of the 8 performers will move onto the finals.

"I feel great today," said Kroeze ahead of Monday's performances. "I don't have any nerves, I'm sure they will come later. I know the songs, we practiced a bunch, and I feel really good about the performances."

Kroeze performed Marshall Tucker Band's "Can't You See." It's a song he has done at concerts for seven years.

Following his solo performance, Kroeze performed with fellow contestant Sarah Grace. They sang a mash-up of Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools."

Kroeze has been in Los Angeles for the past several weeks on the NBC singing competition. He says he is a little homesick for Barron.

"I'm missing everything, I miss cold weather," said Kroeze. "I've had a really good time out here in LA, but I'm looking forward to getting back to small town Wisconsin."

People will then get a chance to vote for Kroeze. Results will be announced Tuesday night on NBC15 at 7:00 p.m.
