LINES: A Theatre LILA Invention is presented at the Overture Center Promenade Hall April 21-29.
Five female playwrights of color, five voices, five lives come together to share fierce, honest stories of LINES- that separate and connect; that need to be crossed, erased, and drawn again; that are invisible and in-between.
Directed by American Players Theatre core company member, Melisa Pereyra, LINES is a start, compelling and uplifting collection of experiences told through poetry, dialogue, movement and music. The play runs 90 minutes without an intermission and a talk back with the cast follows each performance.
