DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) -- Lomira police dealt with a traffic hazard Sunday morning.

The Lomira Police Department received a report of a calf walking on the side of the road down Interstate 41 at 9:15 a.m., according to the department Facebook page.

A sergeant of the Lomira Police Department located the animal. To his surprise, it wasn't the calf initially reported.

The sergeant found a Piebald white tail deer and was able to shoo the animal away to safety so it wasn't a traffic hazard.
