MPD investigates reports of shots fired

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)---Police are investigating reports of shots fired on the city’s north side on Monday night.
According to the Madison Police Department, several people called 911 after hearing the gunshots in the 500 block of Northport Drive just before 10:00 p.m.
Police said officers could not immediately find shell casing or other evidence. There are no reports of injuries.
Anyone with information involving this incident is being asked to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
