Madison man arrested after pointing gun at victim

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A 28-year-old man was arrested after he pointed a handgun at an acquaintance on Saturday around 3 a.m.

According to the Madison Police Department, both of the men were standing in a common hallway of the suspect’s apartment complex on King Street.

Police said the victim was able to disarm the suspect before police arrived. The suspect Mitchell Christen, age 28 of Madison, was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of firearm while intoxicated and pointing a firearm at another person.

According to the release, it was not clear what caused the suspect to point a gun at the victim, although he was intoxicated.
