Madison restaurant closed over weekend for health concerns

A popular restaurant on Park Street was closed on Friday over health concerns, according to health officials.
Bonnie Koenig, Environmental Health Supervisor with Public Health Madison Dane County (PHMDC), tells NBC15 La Hacienda will be closed until Monday for the health and safety of the general public.She adds the operator of the restaurant is working with PHMDC to regain compliance.
Koenig said the closure was a proactive measure to prevent a food borne illness outbreak.
