SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - A man has been arrested after Sun Prairie police say he crashed into a pond Tuesday night.

Officers said 28-year-old Trevor Harmel was driving an SUV when he went off the road near Westmount Drive and Main Street into a pond around 6:30 p.m.

After the crash into the water, he was not responsive, so officers had to break a window to get him out. Medical crews were able to revive him on scene and took him to a hospital. Officers said no injuries were found.

He was allegedly impaired, which officers said likely caused erratic driving. Harmel was arrested him on three charges, including OWI, possession of narcotics, and bail jumping.
