Man arrested for felony after pointing a gun while driving

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Madison Police say they've arrested a man for second degree reckless endangering safety after he pointed his gun while driving at another car.

Police say the victim was driving on the Beltline near Mineral Point Rd around 8:00 p.m. Friday night. The victim told police that he noticed a small vehicle speeding behind him.

When the victim car pulled up next to the other car, the driver of that car pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

The man exited while the victim stayed on the Beltline and called Madison Police.

Officers were able to identify the subject, a 24 year old male, and arrest him for a felony.

The man is being held in the Dane County Jail.
