Man killed in Columbia County crash

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) -- A Pardeeville man was killed in a crash in Columbia County early Tuesday morning.

Brauke A. Andrus, 25, was ejected from his pickup truck south of Cambria at County Highway B and Kuehn Road in the Township of Springvale at 6:09 a.m., according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

The Columbia County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced Andrus dead at the scene.

Speed, safety equipment and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, however the crash remains under investigation.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Columbia County Medical Examiner’s Office, Cambria Fire Department and Cambria EMS, Blystone’s Towing and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
