Man killed in Pardeeville shooting with police identified
PARDEEVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – The man who was killed in a shooting with police has been identified by officials.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, Thomas Selje, age 64, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say a deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a home located at 416 Vince Street and arrived to gunfire coming from the residence. The responding deputy ended up firing his gun, killing Selje.
The Columbia County deputy was placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
