Man shot in Dodge County Thursday night, police still searching for shooters

REESEVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in Reeseville Thursday night.

Deputies were called to North Main Street just after 9:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. There they found a man with a gunshot wound. Initial reports are that two white men wearing dark clothing confronted the 26-year-old and shot him.

The shooting suspects ran away after the attack. Officials are still searching for the two men.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening and he is in stable condition at UW Hospital in Madison.

The sheriff’s office is currently investigating the shooting and asks that if anyone has information related to the incident, that they please contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726 and ask to speak with Detective Willmann or Detective Hopp.
