MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- After a man won a jackpot on a slot machine at Ho-Chunk Casino on Thursday evening, he slammed the machine in frustration when he found out the payout wasn’t very large.
Cynthia Schuster, a spokesperson with the Madison Police Department, said it happened just after 5:30 p.m. at the Ho-Chunk Casino on Evan Acres Road. When it happened, the glass display broke which sent shards towards the person next to him.
Schuster said paramedics met with the other person who initially reported glass got in his eye, but later said he was no longer experiencing problems. He said he no longer needed EMS.
The amount of money the man allegedly won was not disclosed to the public.
The man who broke the glass wanted to be seen for glass in his hand. Paramedics noticed a small scratch. He was not bleeding and didn’t need stitches. The man insisted he be taken to the hospital.
