The man convicted of stabbing a Madison man in his apartment has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance at parole, according to court records.

24-year-old Darrick Anderson was convicted of killing Andrew Nesbitt.

The medical examiner testified that Nesbitt had close to 70 stab wounds when he was found inside a Butler Street apartment on March 27th.

Multiple security cameras in Madison show what appear to be Nesbitt and Anderson walking together in the early morning hours of the 27th. A gas station attendant says a man matching Nesbitt's description bought candy at about 3:30 in the morning. The same type of candy, a bag of M&M's was found in Nesbitt's home.
