Merrimac Ferry reopens Saturday after high winds

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the Merrimac Ferry is reopen after weather has cleared.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Department says the ferry closed early Friday morning because of high winds.

The Merrimac Ferry reopened for the 2019 season on Tuesday. It acts as a bridge across the Wisconsin River between Sauk and Columbia Counties, serving as Highway 113.
