ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV)—The FBI and local law enforcement agencies held a news conference about the manhunt for wanted gun shop burglary suspect, Joseph Jakubowski on Friday morning.

Chief Moore of the Janesville Police Department said Jakubowski’s whereabouts is unknown, and he may not even be in Wisconsin. Jakubowski should be considered armed and dangerous. Police said they are following dozens of leads. They have had contact with Jakubowski before including an instance where he tried to take a weapon from an officer.

The Rock County Sheriff said they have obtained a manifesto Jakubowski sent to President Trump. The manifesto cited anger with all government officials, upper class and authority. Officials said they are not considering these threats “terroristic” until they know more about Jakubowski’s motive.

Jakubowski also has a bulletproof vest.

Authorities said school districts will be the ones to decide whether schools will be open if Jakubowsi isn’t apprehended by Monday.

The FBI in Milwaukee said it’s offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Jakubowski. Their tip line is 1-800-225-5324.
