ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV)—The FBI and local law enforcement agencies held a news conference about the manhunt for wanted gun shop burglary suspect, Joseph Jakubowski on Friday morning.
Chief Moore of the Janesville Police Department said Jakubowski’s whereabouts is unknown, and he may not even be in Wisconsin. Jakubowski should be considered armed and dangerous. Police said they are following dozens of leads. They have had contact with Jakubowski before including an instance where he tried to take a weapon from an officer.
The Rock County Sheriff said they have obtained a manifesto Jakubowski sent to President Trump. The manifesto cited anger with all government officials, upper class and authority. Officials said they are not considering these threats “terroristic” until they know more about Jakubowski’s motive.
Jakubowski also has a bulletproof vest.
Authorities said school districts will be the ones to decide whether schools will be open if Jakubowsi isn’t apprehended by Monday.
The FBI in Milwaukee said it’s offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Jakubowski. Their tip line is 1-800-225-5324.

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office says roughly 150 investigators are searching for 32-year-old Joseph Jakubowski.
On Tuesday, 16 guns were stolen from Armageddon Supplies on U.S. Highway 14 in Janesville.
Authorities later found a vehicle on fire a short distance away. The fire was determined to be arson. Authorities say the fire and the burglary are connected. They say Jakubowski is a suspect in both incidents.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle is registered to Jakubowski.
Authorities received information Thursday morning that Jakubowski has been highly agitated recently over a variety of political issues. He also reportedly had made threats to steal weapons and use them against public officials or at an unspecified school.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and local law enforcement agencies are assisting in the search for Jakubowski.
He is described as being 5’10” tall with green eyes and brown hair.
