Muscoda woman arrested for OWI after fatal crash in Iowa County

A 53-year-old Muscoda woman was arrested for OWI after a fatal head-on collision in Iowa County Friday night.
According to a release by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on US 14 EB/WB near Coon Rock Road around 7:15 p.m.
Authorities say a red sedan driven by the woman drifted into the westbound lane of traffic and hit a pickup truck head-on.
Officials say the 38-year-old Hillsboro man driving the pickup truck was fatally injured, while the woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. She was then arrested for OWI.
Authorities aren't releasing the identities of those involved until they can notify the families. The investigation is ongoing.
