MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)-- A new law in Illinois is taking advantage of the close relationship between a stylist and client for a good cause.
The law, which went into effect January 1st, requires salon professionals to take a training course on how to identify victims of domestic violence.
Although the training is not required by law in Wisconsin, local salon owners think it's a good idea.
