MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Here we go again with the wet weather. The Weather Impact Scale will once again be at a "Yellow-1, Low Impact" through the day on Wednesday. This is for general shower and storm activity that will be scattered throughout the day.
Light rain with a few embedded thunderstorms will move in Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. The activity will become a bit more scattered around midday before a better chance of storms develop Wednesday afternoon and evening.
While no severe weather is expected, lighting and heavy downpours will be around. Rainfall totals will be healthy with a good half to one inch anticipated by the end of Wednesday.
Conditions should clear out Wednesday night into Thursday with cooler temperatures carrying us through the end of the week. Highs are expected to be unseasonably cool and into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
