DANE COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) -- Paradigm — the software company that saw more than 350 first responders during a Sept.19, 2018, workplace shooting at the company’s Middleton headquarters — made a donation to local law enforcement and emergency crews on Friday.

On behalf of the Paradigm Foundation, the company donated $104,000 to the Dane County Sheriff's Office. The donation will go toward the purchase of additional protective equipment and first aid kits, according to the Paradigm Facebook page.

The company also made a donation to the UW Health Emergency Education Center. The $10,000 donation will go toward the purchase of "Go Bags" containing first aid tools and supplies for trauma nurses and EMT's attending the 51st Annual Emergency Care and Trauma Symposium, according to the company's Facebook page.
