Pedestrian killed in Kenosha County identified

SOMERS, Wis. (AP) -- Sheriff's officials have identified the man who was struck and killed while walking along a Kenosha County highway.

Authorities say 51-year-old Jeffrey Etlicher, of Union Grove, died early Saturday when he was hit by a car near Somers. Investigators say Etlicher was walking in the northbound lane and wearing dark clothing when he was struck.

The 31-year-old Kenosha woman driving the car is cooperating with the investigation.
