MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Miller Park will no longer offer plastic straws at games. Instead, paper straws will be available.
The Milwaukee Brewers tweeted Monday that it's part of an effort to reduce plastic waste at games.
“Plastic straws are one of many items that contribute to the 8 million metric tons of plastic waste impacting out oceans each year,” the team tweeted.
The Brewers say they are partnering with the event coordinating company, Delaware North, to make the dream a reality.
