Police: 50 people involved in fight at Olbrich Park

Madison Police responded to a fight near Olbrich Park Saturday afternoon.

According to a release, officers were dispatched to a large fight at the shelter of Olbrich Park Beach. Officers said nearly 50 people from two separate groups were physically fighting. Witnesses said a man showed a firearm during the fight.

Officials say several people were cited, but no weapons were found.
