Man shot in arm in Sun Prairie, younger brother in custody

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) Sun Prairie Police said a 23-year-old man was shot by his younger brother in the arm Tuesday night.

According to the Sun Prairie Police Department, a call came in around 10:30 p.m. from inside an apartment in the Element on Main apartment complex located on the 100 block of Park Circle in Sun Prairie. Police said it was in the 300 building of the complex.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

The 16-year-old brother took off from the scene and was later found in Fond du Lac County during a traffic stop. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff''s office took the teen into custody.

Authorities said the 16-year-old was taken to the Dane County Juvenile Reception Center on a first degree reckless endangering safety charge.
