Police arrest former student, believe she wanted to harm staff member

EVANSVILLE, Wis. (WMTV)--- A former Evansville High School student was arrested on Thursday morning after police believe she wanted to hurt a staff member.

According to the Evansville Police Department, officers were called to 640 South 5th Street for a welfare check just before 9:00 a.m. Officers found high school staff detaining an 18-year-old former student.

Police said the high school went on lockdown for a brief period of time.

Katelyn Nicole Frame of Evansville was taken into custody on preliminary charges of disorderly conduct while armed, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, and possession of dangerous weapon on school grounds.
