MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Police are searching for suspects after a man in a pickup truck followed a 15-year-old girl on Madison’s west side Monday afternoon.

Madison police say the teen was walking in the area of Struck and Seybold streets around 1:45 p.m. when she passed two unknown white males sitting in separate pickup trucks.

The teen says one of the men offered to give her a ride home. She declined the offer, but while she continued walking she believes one of the men followed a short distance behind.

The teen says she sought safety in a local business, and the men left the area.

One man is described as being a chubby, white male wearing a white tank top and khaki pants, blue baseball hat that was worn and ripped on the brim of the hat. The suspect was driving a silver Chevy pickup truck with rusty rims, flame detail printed on the vehicle that appeared to be ripped or painted over. Truck was of orange and silver color.

The other suspect is described as being a tall, white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap that was newer.

Madison police are investigating.
